QUARTZ CRYSTALS
Quartz crystals can be found in several configurations. One must be careful in not
falling for "New Age" sales tactics of renaming particular types of crystals by metaphysical or splendid non de plume, such
as calling crystals with sand inclusions 'Shaman Crystals' or the new rage "Lemurian" these tags cause the price of
an otherwise affordable crystal to reach outrageous amounts. There are several standard quartz crystals such as the
phantom quartz which when looked at has and occlusion which give the appearence of a second quartz growing within the first.
You will also find quartz containing Rutile and Tourmaline as well as numerous other minerals which were next to the quartz
while it was forming. You will find plenty of "New Age" tripe concerning quartz and again giving names to
to increase its value and the appearence of authority from the author. Common sense will tell you these people would
never have had the time to really work with hundreds of crystal and gem stones let alone proclaim the most assinine abilities
and upon further investigation find out that the so called authoratative information was "channeled" or some other New
Age nonsense. If one were to believe these types there are enough spirit guides for eveyone one to have a dozen and
Dieties have nothing better to do than instruct them and those of their ilk. Suffice it to say use common sense
and your own gut feeling in determining what crystal, stone or gem stone you want to use and avoid the trendy names and utter
tripe spewed forth especially about newly discovered or rediscovered minerals.

SEMIPRECIOUS STONES and PRECIOUS STONES
Semiprecious stones have been used since man first walked upright. The utter
beauty of them cause man to know that these were of the gods. Diamonds were thought to be tears of the gods, Rubies
the blood, Sapphires and Topaz sky and fire. They were used in the breast plate of Aaron and foretold the anointing
of kings. That some could hold a electrical charge was even more proof amber and jet. Here we will concentrate
on the the ancient gems and crystals that have been used throughout the ages. Those with a lineage of use that goes
back more than the twenty years these socalled experts with their postulations that some of these can alter the DNA of the
user, while I don't doubt that this is a possibility I want more to justify the statement than the pontifications of touchy
feely new agers who mold the knowledge into something crippled and deformed because it sells.
